How do I place an order?
Choose the keepsake you’d like from the collection and complete your order through the website.
You don’t need to have your photographs or every detail ready at checkout. I’ll contact you afterwards to collect everything I need.
What happens after I order?
I’ll be in touch within 1–2 working days to collect your photographs, hear your ideas and discuss any personalised details you’d like included.
If you’re unsure where to begin, that’s absolutely fine—I’ll guide you through the process.
Can I provide more than one reference photograph?
Absolutely.
I regularly combine several photographs to create one completely personal illustration. For example, I can bring people and places together, remove unwanted background details or use different photographs to capture the features that matter most.
Please feel free to share as many useful reference images as you’d like.
Can you include pets, favourite places or meaningful objects?
Yes—those details are often what make an illustration feel truly personal.
Depending on the product you choose, I can include beloved pets, favourite flowers, meaningful buildings, hobbies, treasured belongings, important dates and little inside jokes.
What if I don’t know exactly what I want?
That’s completely fine. Many customers come to me with just a person, occasion or a few initial ideas.
I’ll help you choose the photographs and details that will work best for your illustration.
Can I request something that isn’t listed on the website?
Of course.
The products on my website are the most popular starting points, but I’m always happy to discuss something different. Please get in touch—I’d love to hear your idea.
What sizes do you offer?
Little Keepsakes are created at 5 × 5 inches and can also be mounted onto a blank 6 × 6 inch greetings card at no additional cost.
Signature Line Portraits are available in A5 or A4.
Home & Venue Illustrations, Wedding Day Illustrations and Everything That Matters commissions are created at A4.
If you have a different size in mind, please contact me before ordering so we can discuss what will work best.
Are illustrations supplied framed?
All current illustrations are supplied unframed. This allows you or the recipient to choose a frame that perfectly suits the artwork and their home.
How long will my order take?
Most custom illustrations take approximately 1–2 weeks to create once I have received your photographs and we have agreed on the details.
Turnaround times may vary depending on demand and the complexity of your illustration. If you need your order for a particular date, please contact me before ordering and I’ll be honest about whether I can complete it in time.
How will my keepsake arrive?
Every order is carefully protected before being beautifully wrapped in tissue paper and ribbon with a Little & Always tag.
Larger illustrations are protected with a sturdy backing board and cello sleeve. Little Keepsakes are protected in a cello sleeve and posted in a sturdy card-backed envelope.
UK orders are sent using a tracked Royal Mail service and will usually arrive within 2–3 working days after dispatch.
Can you send my order directly to the recipient?
Yes.
Simply leave a note at checkout and I can send your keepsake directly to the recipient. I can also include a complimentary printed gift message—just let me know what you’d like it to say.
